Google Buzz has been killed by Google. It no longer works with leenk.me.
Attention leenk.me users, starting with version 1.1.3 of the leenk.me plugin you can now use Google Buzz! Simply log into leenk.me to leenk your Google Buzz profile to your leenk.me account, update the WordPress plugin, and enable Google Buzz. The next time you post, it should send it to Google Buzz!
I have been testing Google Buzz for the past couple weeks and am confident that everything is working as it should be. However, with anything new there is a potential for unexpected bugs. If you are using the Google Buzz plugin and run into any weird problems, please use the contact form to report the issue.
I plan on trying to add LinkedIn to leenk.me next. If you have any social network request let me know and I will prioritize the list. Until then, happy buzzing!

A couple months ago Twitter announced that they were going to be shutting down their basic authentication API, and that day has come. The basic authentication API is suppose to be shut off today at 12PM EST (http://countdowntooauth.com/)
We had a free plugin called RF Twitter Post that used this API. Unfortunately, without the basic authentication API, RF Twitter Post was useless. The only way to continue to provide the same functionality offered by our old plugin would be to create a service that acted as a middle man between your website and the Twitter social network. Thus, leenk.me was born.
After a lot of discussion and planning we went ahead with our idea and we tried to make this service as inexpensive as possible. We do need to charge a nominal fee, because we have to maintain a server and have a lot more development work built into making the leenk.me service work. Luckily the more robust service allows us to extend the original functionality of RF Twitter Post. So far, we have extended it to Facebook and are currently working on Google Buzz.
If there are any social networks that you are in desperate need to leenk, let us know so we can add them to the list.
So, Twitter Post users, I am sorry that we can no longer offer a free plugin for you. However, we hope you subscribe to leenk.me and enjoy the extended functionality the leenk.me service now offers you.

We spent the day yesterday working on some efficiency changes to the leenk.me service. There were a lot of udpates made, so we bumped up the API to v1.1. The previous version 1.0 will still be available until everyone updates their plugin to use the new API.
The new plugin fixes a few bugs and adds some efficiency updates as well. Plus it is intended to work with API v1.1. We just submitted the update to WordPress, so you should be seeing an available update in your WordPress dashboard soon. You don't need to do anything except update the plugin, all services should continue to work as is.
Let us know if you have any questions or any problems.
You need to apply to appear in the Facebook Application Directory, even if you have a working application. It took a couple days since our soft-launch this past Monday, but Facebook approved leenk.me and now we can be found in the app directory by any Facebook user!

It is official, WordPress accepted the leenk.me plugin into their repository. I guess it is time to launch this service. You can now download the plugin here or through your WordPress website.
I am currently working on a how-to section for this site as well as a couple video's showing you how to setup your leenk.me account and the WordPress plugin. In one week, Twitter will be shutting down their REST API. This makes my free plugin RF Twitter Post obsolete! In response to this move I created this service called leenk.me.
With leenk.me you can...
Choose which categories are published automatically
Exclude indvidual posts from being published to through leenk.me
Republish old posts to your social networks
Choose to publish all authors of your WordPress website
Customize the Tweet format, including the post title and post URL (using the custom tags %TITLE% and %URL%)
Not only does this service continue the functionality of RF Twitter Post, it also extends the functionality of the plugin to allow you to publish to your Facebook Profile and/or Fan Page!
I have a lot planned for this service and hope to expand it to other social networks as it continues to grow. I would love to hear any feedback you have regarding this service and the plugin. If you have any questions or any problems, I can be contacted through the Facebook fan page, the Twitter Account, or through our contact form.
Have fun!
