leenk.me was created by me, Lew Ayotte. I have been working in the industry for over ten years. I started developing WordPress themes and plugins in early 2008 and am the creator of a WordPress plugin called RF Twitter Post. My Twitter Post plugin allowed a user to publish a tweet to their Twitter account whenever they published a new post in their WordPress website.
In the summer of 2010, Twitter canceled the simple web interface that allowed Twitter Post to work its magic. leenk.me was created to continue (and extend) the functionality that was offered by Twitter Post by using Twitters preferred secure web interface. Since leenk.me's creation, it has been extended to three other popular social networks that use similar secure web interfaces.
