Hi Kelly,

Never seen that before... send me an email (support at leenk . me). If this is a posting to a Facebook page, what is the page URL?

Hi Lew -

I installed and everything works great, however when I post to Facebook and type in a custom message leenk.me won't pull it in. It only pulls the post headline. Any advice?

Hi Brent,

In your WordPress dashboard, go to the Facebook section of the leenk.me plugin and unckeck "Publish to Personal Profile?" and check "Publish to Fan Page?". That should get you what you want.

Thanks.

Aloha Lew, quick question... wondering if posts from wordpress to my facebook account have to get published to personal profile and the facebook page?

Iow, can I just post to my FB page?

Many thanks!

Hi Dale,

Yeah, it is a little odd, but that's pretty much how it has to work. If you're interested, you can check out the information for the function that runs: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_schedule_event

The way leenk.me works is when the post is published, it sends the information to the leenk.me server to disperse it to your social networks. The best thing you could do it ensure your posts get published on the scheduled time is to setup a CRON JOB on your webhost that checks your website every hour or so. I'd probably set it to 5 minutes past the hour, assuming you schedule most of your posts on the hour.

The cron argument should look something like this (this is how it would look in Linux/UNIX):

5 * * * * wget -O - -q -t 1 http://www.example.com/

That will run the "wget -O - -q -t 1 http://www.example.com/" command five minutes after every hour, every day. If you set that up, you should be all set.

Thank you.
